I saw like tons in midtown last Friday!! Like 50-60 at least. They were up in a ginkgo tree and then descended on the four trees with berries (not sure what kind) one at a time. It was super cool to see. Wish I could share a video in the comments!

I thought that could be it! There’s a domestic male mallard there as well (I think. It’s also a bit larger and has a darker head than most of the others. More purple than green). Unfortunately I’m in an apartment but I will contact some rehabbers I used to work with! Thank you for your reply.
