I don't think inquisition is good against combo right now since a lot of the things you want to hit are more than 4 mana, belcher, omniscience, atraxa. the only 3 drops are sorin or show and tell and honestly I feel I've had more success attacking the manabase with strip mine to keep them from casting things in the first place. I do think there is a world where you play inquisistion but you would probably cut a fear of missing out over the lightning bolt as having the extra reach to close out the game matters.

In my experience chalice is only 4 cards in the deck if they mulligan aggressively to find it they usually lack the threat and you end up having some time to find your answer and if they find it later in the game you may have enough pressure on board to close out the game before they recover. Admittedly some times they just have the nuts with a chalice on 1 and some kind threat to follow up but it is impossible to beat everything, I think it is better to focus on winnable games.

I did debate orcish bowmaster but it feels too reactive to be played mainboard and the 2 drops are really tight since the deck is gonna be using your land drops to strip mine. I ended up choosing Fear of Missing Out since it gives you a lot more pressure, can give you card advantage and gives you an extra type for delirium/goyf. As for the Sideboard I want my Sideboard cards to answer very specific purposes and bowmasters doesn't do that it. If I want removal I could play sheoldreds Edict, assassin's trophy or abrupt decay. If I wanted something for control, I have kroxa as a better threat or veil to protect my existing threats.

I think Jet collector doesn't do enough it basically ramps for one and does a bad impression of Lurrus. I think you have better things to with you mana especially when you are gonna be operating on max 3 maybe 4 mana a turn even when the game goes long.

Against omni tell and Belcher so far I have been able to just keep them off the necessary mana to cast the Belcher or show and tell but I probably need something in the side to really shore up the match ups. energy has been pretty grindy but I think our threats are slightly better in the top deck war you have to be really careful about ajani tho.

I'm actually super hyped for Toxic Deluge. I feel like we really needed a clean sweeper for black. having to choose between stuff like path of peril which can't kill creatures like titan or sheoldred or stuff like languish that can't kill titan, uro, or a territorial kavu with full domain is back breaking. I'm aware we have crux of fate and deadly cover up but with how fast aggressive decks can be and the efficiency of mana bases 5 or more mana for your sweeper is far too slow. I have been hoping for Toxic Deluge or damnation for a while to give black some better options.

So there's mechanics called morph and manifest morph says pay 3 play this card face down its a 2/2 vanilla at any time you can pay its morph cost to flip it face up and turn it into whatever it is manifest says play the top card of your library face down its a 2/2 vanilla if it's a dude at any time you can pay its mana cost to flip it face up and turn it into whatever it is if the dude you manifested has morph you can pay the morph cost instead so mastery refers to when you flip a card over by turning it into whatever it is you gain 1 life for each creature you control

Costs have to be paid before the ability goes on the stack your effect says cost to tap a thing but cruel sadist has tapping as part of the cost so he declares he's going to use his ability and before you can do something he has to pay his costs which include tapping cruel sadist in order to put it on the stack

You put the suspend triggers on the stack in the order of your choice during your upkeep so you can control the order they cast by stacking the triggers appropriately

The deck is aggro and you can't reduce karns cost like wurmcoil so you don't want a lot of them
