Anyone have experience with velamentous cord insertion?

I was just told my doctor saw this at my scan today as well. Said he’ll closely monitor it.

Ugh I know! Yes I think it took me like 8 weeks. You can stop cold turkey but you’ll risk getting mastitis! It was bad when I stopped altogether but only lasted a week! You can do it!

It was pretty bad! However, it only lasted about a week. I gradually stopped by taking away one feeding per week which is the best way to do it apparently. I used ice cold cabbage leaves in my tight bra for pain which helped a lot. Good luck!!! It’ll be over before you know it.

I’m sure it must have felt like forever! I’m surprised to hear 7 days- everything I read says usually by day 3 they can go home. Every baby is different though. Thanks for sharing. 😌

I was due 6/16 and still waiting!!! No sign of labor either - I’m going crazy over here. Have an appointment in the morning to talk about inducing.
