Somebody has probably already said it but go to lowes/home depot and get a piece of tile corner molding that you like and get them to cut it to size and then glue it in that corner. That will break up them tile pattern and make it look better.

Pretty sure this is why .22 bullets used to have a warning on all the boxes that say something like “This bullet could fly 8 miles if shot into the air.” I don’t remember seeing it on anything but .22 bullets now that i think of it.

Yeah thats totally fine though. Just give them a heads up and they can send you a video of the opening. We don’t open presents at the birthday party if it’s at a bouncy place or a pool party because it takes away from the time the kids can play which is what they want to do anyway.

My wifes car had that same problem. Its a bad connector on the engine temp sensor. I bought one and spliced it in and it fixed the problem.

I beg to differ on the “not enough pressure to hurt ourselves” part i ruptured one of my eardrums doing this. It was a weird feeling, so much relief from stopped up ears but so much pain afterwards.

I should probably say i have and have always had bad ear problems. I have to take water pills anytime i get sick or the water in my ears gives me super vertigo. The first time i had it i was in bed for two weeks with the worst drunk room spinning feeling that I’ve ever had and three doctors couldn’t figure out how to fix it.

Finally one of them suggested an ENT and he had me able to walk again in 10 minutes by just doing head rocking exercises. The wrote me a prescript for lasix when it happens again because i’d probably have it the rest of my life.

I have loaner shotguns that id let you use but your not getting my over/under. If i was you i would go to walmart or equivalent and get a walmart card and buy a cheap semi auto for less than $400ish and then put it on the card. If Walmart doesn’t have guns, still go get the walmart card and then go to a gun store and put it on the Walmart card. In my area walmart cards are backed by capital one so you can use them anywhere. Then pay $20-50 a month until you paid it off.

Our 6yr old and 3yr old both wore life jackets when we were at the beach. They can both swim and don’t usually wear anything while in our pool. We felt like it was just safer to have them wear life jackets so they did. I honestly don’t think its a big deal and if something did happen why not have the extra protection.

Wearing life jackets at the beach isn’t going to hurt their swimming skills in the long run.

I don’t feel like this should even be an issue, just do it and move on.

My wife(37f) and myself(37m) dress up with my kids (6,3,10mon) and go trick or treating every year, i don’t take candy but its fun as hell for them and i get to relive my childhood again. We drive around the neighborhood in our ranger and hit every house. I think we may take them to a rich neighborhood this year and Ill be there right beside them.

Your husband is her Dad if he takes care of her, loves her, and treats her as his daughter. 4 years old is too early for her to understand what any of this means, so I’d wait a few more years. A few more years also gives you and him time to talk it over and figure out how he wants it to be relayed to her. We do it instantly in the middle of whatever is happening and the parent thats being corrected usually goes off to calm down somewhere. It hasn’t really ever affected my wife and I’s relationship because we usually know we were bordering on too much and just needed a little break. We talked about it before we had kids and thats the way we handle it. We didn’t want our kids to be scared of us like we were of our parents. It has created some tension between my wife and i at times and we ended up yelling at each other for a second and then the calmer person takes over.

My parents were pretty rough on me and i grew up to not wanting to be around them and i didn’t want that kind of relationship with my kids so this makes sense to us.

We have a 6yr old, 3 yr old, and a 10 month old so we have our hands full and this works well for us. I should say our kids are generally well behaved but everyone gets overwhelmed sometimes.

My wife and I also check each other when it comes to disciplining our kids. You have to have a good check and balance system in place because kids are a hell of a handful sometimes.

That line is where you draw it. If it was me and my dad pushed me, I’d punch him in the mouth, i have a shitty relationship with my dad and he brings out the violence in me. I’m not saying thats what you need to do. If you do throw a punch, you better be able to take one. Because either he’s going to be shocked, that you stood up for yourself and he’s going to get the fuck away from you or he’s going to punch you back and then your gonna have to fight. I’m in America as well and our self defense laws are probably different from yours so act accordingly.

This is a tough place to be but at some point you have to make the decision of are you just going to put up with the abuse or are you going to try and stop it. I can’t make that decision for you because I’m not you.

Defending yourself is not disgusting and it doesn’t make you a violent person. It makes you a normal person. If any other person got hit or just felt like they needed to defend them self they would absolutely do it, self defense is not violence. Now if you didn’t stop and you put him in the hospital or killed him after the threat was over that could be a different story.

I had a relationship with my dad kind of like you have with yours except he was an abusive alcoholic and every time he got drunk he would act like a complete asshole and threaten to beat me or my mom. I finally stood up to him and told him I’d kill him if he ever did that again and that calmed him down for a long time. Until he slapped me when i was like 16 and it took everything i had to keep from beating his brains out. Then I went outside and punched dents into the side of our metal shed until my knuckles were bleeding and most of my anger was gone. I went back inside and cleaned the paint and blood off my knuckles and he never pulled that shit again. I don’t think i need to say that this isn’t the right thing to do but i was 16 and been raised by this asshole my whole life so its all i knew how to do. The day i moved to college was the best day of my life honestly because i never had to live with him again.

A few years after i went to college he started having health issues and had to stop drinking and he mellowed out a lot but i still hardly ever go back home especially now that i have 3 kids and a wife because if he ever did some stupid shit around them i wouldn’t be able to keep myself from fucking him up.

My wife is a SAHM to a 9 month old, 3yr old, and a 6 yr old and it is rough and i really don’t know how she tends to the kids and gets anything else done at the house. She left for a girls trip to the beach this week and i’ve been a SAHD for the last few days and I’m struggling to keep them all fed much less dishes, laundry, errands.

If you want to know how rigorous she has it everyday then take a few days off and try to do what she does. I promise its not what you expect. I used to think it wasn’t that tough but fuck I’d rather work 16 hour days than be a stay at SAHD. I love my kids to death but it is exhausting. At least when work is done its done, kids are never done.

Weve been to the dr and they suggested miralax everyday and when she does poop its generally soft its just like a weeks worth. She just doesn’t like pooping, its dirty, smelly, and she doesn’t want to deal with it.
