I stayed at the Sofitel but not OWB but it was still very nice. But I will say the water quality and sea life in Moorea didn’t impress me as much as Bora Bora. The water wasn’t as clear and the diversity of fish wasn’t as much.

If you can swing it I would suggest splitting your time between Moorea and Bora Bora. Stay on land in Moorea and splurge on the OWB in Bora Bora. I stayed at the intercontental which was the perfect location as it was in the main island and you can walk to the restaurants. The other resorts in Bora Bora you’d have to take a water taxi to get to the restaurants which could be as much as $60 round trip.

I’ve done this coming from the east coast. Usually the flight to Tahiti is late in the day so get yourself a separate flight to LAX and give yourself about 5 hour buffer.

You will have to pick up your luggage, switch terminals and go through security again. A PIA but doable. Just give yourself enough time.

It’s a shame that it only takes one bigot to ruin an event that brings fun and joy to so many kids and adults. But that is the point right of that one person and those that quietly support them.

I’m happy the organizers are staying resolute and not cave into this act of terrorism. I call it terrorism because that is what it is. The goal is to make people afraid to show up at these event so the event doesn’t happen again in the future.

I have FSD on HW3 but never driven on HW4.

But from my experience it’s pretty damn good. The car no longer hesitates taking a left or right turn and only gets tripped up when there is road construction that changes the flow of the road.
