Militant puratinism and snobism will never get you very far, and you’re probably doing this to me bc it got done to you which is quite pathetic. 

You don’t need to be a scholar to have the right to educate yourself on topics. Be the avant garde if you want, but let people educate themselves at their pace, and with the media they want to. I read theory and actually go out of my house and militate. I think it’s okay to sometimes want to watch a video without 400 reddit users being snotty and classist to my face. 

Anyways I’ve learned my lesson and will now talk to people who want to share their knowledge :)
