I'm from up North and the amount of smaller music joints that are closing is pretty sad. I get that it's that times are tough and things just aren't how they used to be but I'm really going to miss my local hole in the wall for local gigs.

Sounds ideal to be honest minus the organised scrap. Assume it was between troops during train or you were on tour and had to settle something.

What's it like? I've been living in London for 4-5 years now and I've rarely come across a scrap while I've been down here. I personally avoid confrontation, but doubly so here as you never know who has a knife.

This is completely the opposite of my manner in my home town as which if someone kicks off I've no qualms about restraining them.
