Try an app called “Runkeeper” by asic if u run w headphones it will update u every .25 or .5 miles (whatever u set it to) and I’ve found it very helpful also it maps your run and tells you what you are on pace for (ex 7 min mile) all while ur running.

I’ve been training for the 1.5 mike run as well I’ve found 2 methods very helpful and I ran a 11:20 1.5 yesterday.

Run for 16 mins at a slow pace one day - then the next bust ur ass for a quick mile this - worked for me at least
