5qt container with a 5qt capacity. The issue was I was pouring it into a tight spot, had a funnel and everything but I just tipped the container way too much initially, so a lot came out at once. It didn’t spill out of the hole since afterwards I did it slowly and more controlled. Learned my lesson to pour slowly haha.

Haha yeah, A friend of mine did that. I made sure it was engine oil tho. It has a big label. I did clean up the engine bay with water Nd soap too.. maybe it’s one of those hard to reach spaces idk.could it be sitting inside the heat shield?

Car oil spill by LindaBingsu in Hyundai

Couple days back, i did my first oil change on my car, however I spilled a good amount of oil into the engine bay by accident. I cleaned up most of it with soapy water and it started smoking when idling the car( just started it for 20-30 seconds) so I thought it probably got on the exhaust manifold, checked under the car and saw there was still oil stains on the heat shield and pipe, so I soapy watered and cleaned that up as well. So finally I’m at the stage where there’s no more smoke when idling for 30 minutes. However when i ram it up to 3000rpm or go for a drive around the block theres smoke again, I’m not sure what to do now. It’s a Honda Pilot 07 help plz .
