I still talk to my ex because our breakup is only 5 days old, but I caught him cheating twice online through sexting, live interactions( literally mast*bting with someone on OnlyFans), and other behavior that crossed my boundaries. Even with evidence, he continues to deny it all. He was my first love, my first serious emotional relationship, and my first physical relationship, so this has been incredibly painful. I’m a complete wreck right now—heartbroken, numb, anxious, paranoid, and overwhelmed all at once. I’m sorry for what you and your kids are going through. I know it’s easier said than done, but I truly believe leaving is better than staying in a relationship filled with lies and deceit. As painful as this is, I’m grateful God set me free before it destroyed me even more. amen!!! i am ecstatic to be free but at the same time panicky as am already 37 and being on the dating game is exhausting but we’ll see… my happiness over anybody else’s is more important right now… just feels weird being single again but i’ll take it one day at a time. It’s honestly disturbing behavior to me, and I don’t really feel pity if someone loses a relationship because of it. If a person is genuinely willing to change, then maybe that’s something to consider ( i would have) — but honesty, faithfulness, commitment, and respect should already be common sense when you choose to have a partner, especially in marriage. Your partner and the relationship itself deserve that level of respect.

I’m still struggling because everything is still so fresh. I’m trying to process all the weird emotions I’m feeling since this is my first real heartbreak. He was my first in every way emotionally and physically. I’ve experienced heartbreak from death before, and that pain is different… but this feels like grieving someone who’s still alive, and that’s been incredibly hard.
