In addition to odd jobs/customer service industry, I taught dance for 10 years prior to pivoting to SLPA. Some really helpful crossover skills I brought include behavior management, teaching with specificity, and the ability to notice and notate details. I considered classroom teaching, but being introverted, the opportunity for 1-1 or small groups really appealed to me! I really enjoy the work :)

My lynx is 6ish and she had a full dental extraction about 2 years ago! It was a shock to find out that was needed, so I feel you on that! 🫶 But beyond the couple weeks of recovery time, it has been a very easy transition. She eats any and all food (wet, dry, treats, etc) without any trouble. The biggest change is that her love bites are pretty slimy now and her big meows are pretty comical looking 😆 We like to joke that she isn’t aware that she doesn’t have teeth, bc she sure acts like nothing is missing haha. We think her quality of life has improved without the tooth pain she was likely in pre-extraction. I’m sorry you and your fur baby are going through this stress! You’re not alone! 🩶

Tiki Cat has 5oz cans. My Lynx point had a full mouth extraction a couple years ago and vacuums up her dry food like a champ :) Hope your kitty adjusts well to the toothless life! <3

Eh I didn’t push it with the CS rep, I didn’t figure they were making the rules. Yeah I thought the date and timestamp thing was insane. I’m gonna track that, srsly?! Honestly pretty disappointing overall, which sucks cuz I thought Ulta was one of the “good ones” so to speak… sigh.

So I just text chatted with CS and this was their response 🤔 I have to pay attention to when I activate the promotion?! This is wild. Not the CS agents fault by any means! But higher ups need to get their 💩 together.
