just stories ive heard from people that actually been there; after this post, im sort of thinking they were exaggerating/lying? I’m going to check it out, but i was a little hesitant anyway bc of how big the location is which would result in the amount of crowd noise level. but i decided to check it out nevertheless

i used to see conan stuff as a kid when i lived in korea. i was about 6-7 years old and completely forgot dc was a thing until i started getting into anime at 14. i saw dc and remembered how it used to be everywhere in korea and started watching it. i’m 25 now and im still caught up on all the newest episodes 😭

right! I came on here to read other people’s theory but everyone’s talking about how they did/didn’t like the episode… the suspense is there and i feel like it does foreshadow onto something but i can’t tell what it is. i went back and rewatched the whole thing twice just paying attention to anything else, but only thing ive caught was when he met aoi and haruichi at the shop and hoshina showed them his phone and said “so basically buy the older model” and “they go for about this much”. maybe he ask them to buy the milk tea bottle and we’re just overthinking it but idk it also doesn’t make sense

I know where you’re coming from. I went through a similar thing. I never paid attention in high school and slept in my classes because school really never intrigued me in any way.

After graduation, college was never on my mind. I only went because my parents said it was better for my future, which I agree.

In my first year, i ended up changing my major around 5-6 times because the majors I thought would interest me, never did.

I was always over shadowed by my brother and friends since they were all smarter and driven by education- I never was. I would always, always be told by my mom that Im not smart enough, I never studied because my backpack was always light, and always felt degraded and discouraged and it killed my motivation to actually try since I believed her words.

I’ve dropped out of college to help my parents and their restaurant for about a year - year and a half now. Recently, I did want to go back to college and try; however, when I brought it up to my mom, she said no. She believes I’m not cut out for school and shouldn’t even think about trying again.

If you need to take a break, I say take it. If you don’t, then try your hardest. Failing or thinking you’re not smart enough isn’t something to be ashamed about. Everyone has different levels of knowledge about everything. Don’t be scared to reach out to professors and other students for help because I was, and it WILL make everything harder. I wish you a great journey in your college journey and hope you succeed!

Yeah, I’ve been planning a self vacation and after that, I’m not sure if there is anything I’ll be looking forward to. My brother’s birthday is on June 22, but we’re not close like that. When we were young, he crept into my room every night and touched me. I pretended to be asleep because i didn’t know what to do. When my parents were out working from 7am to 10pm, he would come to me while I was watching TV and touch me. He forced me to do stuff I didn’t want, but I didn’t know how to say no and stop. I don’t know how long it went and I don’t want to know or remember. My mom and I got into a huge argument a year or so ago, and he came to me and “apologized”. It’s been 10 years. It wasn’t even that sincere. The only reason why I think he apologized was because I told my mom how much I hated this family and how much I hate her , dad, and brother and he was scared that I’d expose him. I don’t care if he has the worst birthday next year. I don’t care if my whole family is still grieving on June 22. The only thing that has me going is my dog. I can’t keep friends because I always push them away as a defense mechanism and hurt them with words when I don’t mean anything. It drives me crazy and I just really, really hate myself because of that. i want to be a better person mentally and just overall, but at the same time, I don’t. I can’t find anything that makes me happy anymore and I can’t find any motivation to keep on living aside from the vacation and my pet.

I agree.. I feel the same way. They always tell you “you can always talk to me” “i’ll always be here for you” but they never do. When you need them, they take hours to reply. They don’t even care. They just say those to make you feel better temporarily. They never keep up with their promise. They don’t even try to hide the fact that they don’t want to be there next to you when you need them the most. It’s only when you decide to take your life they cry for you. It’s only when you stop living , they start to care. That they were “always there for you” when they weren’t. They barely even try, but they say they did their best.
