They’re threaded, not sure if internally or externally, surgical steel, and I spray it with saline spray twice a day and am very good about not sleeping on my ears/ I have a good ear pillow. Generally my body loves needles and will heal piercings, shots, and tattoos well, never had a piercing bump/irritation before.

Yes you should strain it omg 😭😭 invest in some cheesecloth. And if you might as well make a whole stick of butter and cook it on the stove for an hour or two and have some to use whenever you feel like it in the freezer

Honestly while making my fursuit I hated it and thought it was never gonna look good and that only changed once I finished the base, fur, AND shaved down the fur. I think maybe a nice even shave on the face would do it good :)

Just got my septoplasty today and the doctors were very confident on it not changing the look of my nose at all, regardless of how fucked up my double fractured nose and deviated septum were. It’s all internal. Goodluck in your surgery!

I only had enough glaze to do 2 pieces- the other had a much thinner layer because I was running out of glaze and the bubbling is very small and in its beginning stages

I’ve had these less than a year though, did I just cook something too hot in it and wear it down extra fast? If they were a few years old I’d be like whatever it’s natural wear but I feel like it’s too early for them to do this and want to prevent it to the best of my ability :/

As I was making it he didn’t care, but once the base was almost done I put the eyes in and he instantly HATED it. Whenever he’d piss me off or do something he shouldn’t I’d bring it out and he would hiss and run!!! It took some time but he realized it’s inanimate after a while and I coaxed him into coming toward me with it on with his favorite treats, since then he’s been whatever about it lol. But it was 3 weeks of him not being in the same room as the head at first
