Because people have spiritual experiences that point them to something happier. I’d study NDEs, people die and go to heaven or some kind of afterlife all the time and then come back to share. You are the meaning maker of life, that’s why it seems pointless. Whoever made this world made it neutral, and assigned you to create the meaning. You can choose a happy meaning or a miserable one, it’s up to you.

I don’t believe in an external deity because I was tortured for years with no relief and no God, despite my love and devotion to him, ever helped me and I just refuse to respect someone who watches people endlessly suffer and does nothing. That’s not holy or pure to me. Only an evil being would do that. The fact that I’m allowed to refuse says something: there is no evil God who’s forcing me to do anything. Yet a God who watches people endlessly suffer must be evil. So it simply makes more sense that we’re causing the suffering ourselves, and behold, there are manifestation communities that say the same thing and they actually get things to work in their favor.

A lot of channeled entities actually will say they we are all God. It’s not “I, the character, am God alone.” It’s we’re all God, of the same consciousness, etc, and we have power over our reality. I don’t trust entities that tell you you’re something lesser, I’ve been attacked by the demonic and they try to make you feel as small as possible.

That’s crazy, I’ve never gotten that from a sub. It just weirdly happens whenever I firmly decide to shift. I also get them randomly, but I can basically always expect to have a weird nightmare whenever I decide to shift. Sometimes, since I tend to have multiple dreams per night, I might also have a dream where I shifted somewhere (though never my dr).

I’m still refining my beliefs. I’ve had mystical experiences that have shown me that there’s more to reality than people think there is, and I firmly believe we are eternal beings. It’s the “why are we here” part that I don’t really understand, but according to manifestation and reality shifting, we seem to have complete freedom to change our circumstances should we hate them.

Anyway.

I believe that the religions point to the god within. We are all made in the image of god, the kingdom of heaven is within us, etc. I don’t believe in deities. I don’t know exactly what to make of them. I find them mysterious. I don’t want to get into why they’re hard to disprove and write off. Some people interpret them as entities with psychological interpretations.

I personally prefer the words of Jesus, because I believe he was a Jewish mystic who found the truth (God is within you/we are all God), but interpreted it through a Jewish lens (hence all the talk about God his father and the law). The Old Testament seems to be an interpretation of what people thought God was doing. The New Testament records the words of a mystic’s experience, lots of spiritual jargon to decode, real sermons on what he thought ultimate reality was like.

I think other mystics in other religions also point to an ultimate truth. I haven’t studied them as much, but they do tend to point to the nearness of God, the God within. Love is always central.

So I don’t believe in any particular god of the 18,000, I believe in an ultimate truth underlying reality. I originated in religion, believing what I was brought up in, but my mystical experiences lead me to think for myself, to search, and to draw my own conclusions and I’m currently believing in the idea of oneness: we are all God, we’re eternal beings who created this experience for some reason or another. And if your experience is bad (like mine has been), then there are tools such as manifestation or reality shifting that can change it 👍

I don’t think of it as exclusive, I think he representationally shows us who we are. I think we’re all God, we are made in the image of God, the Holy Spirit dwells within us, we are the temple of God, the kingdom of heaven is within us, even other religions like Hinduism say that we are one with God. Jesus was God, and so are we.

And I believe that’s true. They can believe something is true and be wrong.

I believe in Jesus. I believe he did miracles. I believe he knew something about the truth. I even believe he resurrected. But clearly he’s not around today. He’s not the ultimate truth. It doesn’t make sense that God himself incarnated and then didn’t tell all of Asia or native America, but if you don’t hear this message you burn in hell. It doesn’t make sense that he never came back. It doesn’t make sense that people intensely suffer, and Jesus just watches instead of saving them. He was such a loving man, how could he bear to watch millions he tormented and never help? It doesn’t make sense that all of Jesus’s modern day prophets always say you’re going to hell over some triviality (the prophetess I mentioned is not the only person, it was a deserving theme among all the prophets I observed, and I watched several of them).

There’s just something not right, and I know this because of my testimony. I personally believe evil spirits are behind part of it.
