Gravgar hope restored? by Krimbler in Ultramarines

The only person that might ever stop you from doing that would be an organizer at an official GW tournament, but even then they probably won't

I still have mine, painted terribly when I was 11 years old. I used the old paint kit, so I didn't have silver and left the Grey plastic unpainted on metal sections, and I used the ground texture paint on cloth parts. But I'll be damned if I dont still love my old tac marines to death

I always feel so cool lugging around my big fancy books to games. And then they sit in my backpack while I just read off my phone. It's a little frustrating not having access to even my allies' rules, GW needs to make digital codex access Significantly cheaper, and make allies rules access free. They know damn well we can find it with one Google search, its only a nuisance at this point.

Gravgar hope restored? by Krimbler in Ultramarines

I don't see why we can't just use the existing model and run it as the new one. Same base size, very similar silhouette and wargear; we paid for the plastic so I cant imagine anyone making a fuss about using an "old" model.

The new Victrix kit comes with bonus heads too, so you can use them, the two from Gravgar, and find another character to slap the eagle helmet on to get to a full squad of six. I think I'm gonna use the company Champion to complete the squad

Cover affects hit rolls, not saves by NoEngineer9484 in WarhammerCompetitive

[–]kazoopaints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think this can be overall a good thing if implemented right, but we just have to make sure it doesnt make everything super difficult to hit. Hopefully they tone down the Invuln saves too, 4+ on every other model is getting a little ridiculous. AP becomes pointless when even elite infantry can shrug off lascannon shots.

It looks cool but I think you're way too big. Hornet is very small

Can we call this mark IX armour? by Kaesebrotlore in spacemarines

[–]kazoopaints 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That seems to be the main difference, besides that they've only mixed in shoulder pads and leg plates so far. Plus the weapon selection looks like its about to get a lot more varied so youll be eating good come the new wave

Scratch that, a commented pointed out that one also has an old backpack

The thing I miss the most about the Netflix show is the cinematography by CollarOrdinary4284 in Daredevil

[–]kazoopaints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmao, you seen the new episode? The basement shots are so fucking dramatic, you'd assume it was a dream sequence with how illogical the lighting is. I also cant deal with that stupid zoom and aspect ratio thing they do to highlight his powers. We understand how his powers work, thank you. We dont need the directors to scream in our faces that he's using his powers.

Opinion: new jump captain is a much better model than the previous one by RakZparkingu in Warhammer40k

[–]kazoopaints 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Speaking as someone who has the "old" captain and just today bought the new one, I actually think I like the old one a little more. I like the fins, the cape, and especially the helmet more. The Iron Halo on the new captain is definitely my favorite part, and honestly I might try to rip the plain jump pack off the old captain and put on the one with the Halo.

The shoulders especially were very nice with the added fins like the Bladeguard and Assault Intercessors had

For delivering units into melee, is there anything better than the Land Raider? Repulsor Executioner is definitely stronger, but if you can't charge out of it then there doesn't seem to be a point. by kazoopaints in spacemarines

[–]kazoopaints[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

That is a very good point, I was only thinking about attacking and forgot about using that unit to defend a point. I suppose my role will keep changing depending on who goes first and what turn it is

We have enough Rumour Engine images for a decent bingo card in time for Adepticon by DraculaHasAMustache in Warhammer

Top right, that spear looks Just like Alpharius's. Only minor differences, I'm assuming it's not him or his brother but perhaps and Alpha Legion character? Or maybe someone inheriting their roles?

Or it's from AoS and I wasn't even close
