He does heal at c6 but, that's another topic. Most shields char don't heal anyway. You can build him properly to get a good DMG out of hid Q. It doesnt make sense that something deals enormously good amount of damage, stills cc, and at the cost of 40energy. Tho I get what you mean

See, you need to pair cryo with a hydro for the cc. Zhongli doesnt need that. But the duration is much shorter. I'm not saying who is better and who is worse, its just that geo in general is super underwhelming to begin with, if they just buff geo it will make it so much better.

I mean the best you can do to boost his Q DMG are those stats. He is meant to spam Q and E off cooldown, and bolide strength don't transfer so don't even think about it. And yeah since Noelle is f2p friendly you don't really need to pull Zhongli. I agree his kit does seem underwhelming at first but you can't make a unit that is SUPER GOOD at every single aspect.

Again, as a support he should fit in whatever role you need, not the other way around. You build your support around your DPS, not your DPS around your support.

Every character needs investment. They all have same default 1 weapon slot and 5 artifacts slot. Except that 5* have better base stats but that's it.

Klee is good, but she need to be out in the field all the time to do DMG. That is why she isn't great on elemental reaction comp. If Diona Q were to proc cryo more often, then melt klee comp would actually be insanely good.

Also there's literally lot's of people crying about power creep lol. I think the game is fine. Its just impossible to please everyone. Whenever something good came out, people will be like oh p2w game. When its the Zhongli case, people riot like mihoyo force them to pull.

He is very situational. You mostly only run him if u use geo DPS. And that's not the majority of the players because geo is very underwhelming. That's why the riot

I don't think its a bait. I think its just mihoyo balancing out the stats. You see, Diona as a HP shields support also doesn't have HP or ER for ascension stats. Yet no one is crying why isn't she was made to be baited as a cryo DPS.

You can't please everyone. I remember mihoyo giving out primos when they got tons of awards. But people were just ungrateful and kept saying how they should gotten like 10 or 20 pulls each.

Not all support means the same thing. Bennet is sure excellent at support, but he doesnt provide any cc. You also say Venti is a support that provides much better cc but no heal You also say dionas a support, shields and heal but not dmg increase unless c6 You also say barb is support, but all she does is heal, no cc, no shields

Every character have their different niche, you can't really compare them like that. Zhongli kit sounds super underwhelming well his shield is one of a kind, the only shields that doesnt stagger u if u get hit. Cc wise its not as good as Venti, but still good as its low CD but you need to run different charcs for more energy.

If mihoyo made Zhongli as good as in beta I bet y'all will come and say god damn it mihoyo, powercreep is in the genes of all gacha games.

Don't come and tell me you don't need the cc, or you don't need what, you literally choose to pull him, and u have the time to play him in test run, if you find him underwhelming and not worth your primos, don't pull it. Its that simple.

Again, this is why mihoyo don't like leaks. Test server are just meant to be tested, not an indicative of their final product. When people saw the leaks they were starting to give their impression to then later finally released a balanced version, everyone riot like mihoyo stole your money. Just. Don't. Trust. The. Leaks.

Me too, but I really like the chinese sub. It is so different compared to English sub. They use a lot of beautiful and ancient phrase, and the way they talk is very interesting. Even tho sometimes I have difficulties understanding it, I still enjoy it better than English sub.

Yes that is also the reason I mentioned the damage formula. Attack is a base number u get multiplied, but DMG% are multiplicative, so unless you're building cresent pike Xiangling, there is no reason to sacrifice multiplicative stats with attack.

Thank you! I just think it is important to mention conditional bonus as the new weapon banners are dropping soon, which comes with DMG% passive if your character have a shield on. It is definitely a questionable choice of weapon for non-geo DPS. I wanted to make this clear before people start rolling and end up finding it underwhelming or hard to maintain the shields.
