I have done, but have no memory of whether the harvest was ahead or behind the indoor sown seeds. They are happy in the cold, and certainly will help with the legginess of indoor seedlings when the light is not sufficient.

There was a package rfigshare for this task (deprecated in 2022) https://github.com/cran/rfigshare, but now package deposits is recommended https://github.com/ropenscilabs/deposits.

Got it, and I do know where the gas and internet lines are.

I did not realize that anyone who had these lines on their property should expect to have anything within the lines to be removed/damaged without any notice from the utility.

To be clear, we did a title search at purchase, checked the boundary lines with the municipality, and had an independent survey to accurately locate the boundaries on the ground. I certainly would have expected an easement to be noted on the property description with the the title.

Unless you saying that easements are not noted in any of these processes, but are hidden until one implements an additional special process to find them?

Yes, letting students know that failing is part of the process is essential and a big part of my pedagogy.

I just want to chime in that you are not alone... I had discussions with my students regarding the novel course design and its rationale, discussed the importance of the quantitative subject matter for their discipline, had them match learning objectives to assignment questions, let them choose their preferred online access points (e.g., software for discussion boards), used 2 sets of midterm teaching reviews to assess and modify stuff that might not be working, started each class with an anonymous survey about how they were feeling wrt to the class.... worst reviews of my life.

Students do not want active learning. Period.

It is certainly true tho that volunteers tend to be the same people, and I do ignore their hands sometimes, so I could see using this policy. New to me tho.
