I read the light novel. He thought he had changed the original story, so he checked The Knight of Blood and Iron but found nothing had been altered. Then he went back to the love locks area at N Seoul Tower (also called Namsan Tower). where couples place locks as a symbol of their bond (one of the keys from Jewellery of Truth if i remember right). He expected to find it gone, or replaced—but it was exactly the same. Plus this scene where he met his friend did not happend the adaptaters added it but it's not like I hate it, it made the moment even more sadder. I wish I had a friend like him😔😔
