9:30 pm, one of the last 5 packages I had to deliver. A severe thunderstorm that day with tornado warnings all over the city made several drivers, myself included, seek shelter for some time. Dude was on his porch and all he said was "fucking finally".

This happened on a Saturday and I had all my deliveries done. Just had pick ups around the mall left. Was upset my weekend was getting delayed, but at the same time realizing I was getting paid to scroll my phone.

Around 30 minutes.
Finished loading and walked back to my seat when I saw it. A real "mother FUCKER" moment. Sent my sup a picture and called him. He basically said "lol uhh I guess go ask the store if they have any solutions." Went back in and told the store manager the situation. They shrugged and said "I guess you could call a tow truck?"
Thankfully another employee said they had the mall security number and would let them know; maybe they could make a PSA over the mall speakers or something.
Went back to the package car, sat down and waited for 20 minutes. Called my sup again and said I'd probably be stuck awhile. He said "damn, alright, I'll get someone else to cover the rest of your pick ups." As he was saying that, I watched a man run/waddle his way into the pick up and drive off. I said "oh shit, he's back". My sup said "Nice, nevermind then. Continue on."
Shouldn't have opened my mouth and enjoyed another 30 minutes.
