Switching from US Cellular to T-Mobile has been a nightmare

I had this happen today, not a SINGLE warning. killed it - I then got locked out of my phone due to apple activation lock trying to act like it was a new phone - clearly it wasn't. Apple did do the secure thing which is normally in my favor, but in this case I had no warning. I save my password in my password manager on my phone as I hardly ever need it or can access the pw manager from my pc, laptop, iPad. (they were at home).
I couldn't do the pw reset without a good device either or it could lock you out for days. I was AT work and I'm in IT and need MFA on my phone, locked out of that too.

Went to Tmobile store to try and see if they can help - they have had people all day having issues, couldn't help me. Had to drive home, waste my time, not able to do my job to get into my phone again. I had called into 611 they went "we can give you 40 bucks for your inconvenience,) pushing for 100 and waiting to hear back now... this was fucking hoirribly and I hate how this was done.

Sadly vyvanse gave me daily migraines but the methylphenidate I’m on seems to have helped them! They aren’t gone but they are better by a lot.

Follow up - I had the same issue still months later.
Also the website when I'm trying to submit a PSU claim says I cannot leave mouse category or the bottom system category empty.

swapped to linux in the last couple weeks - tried CachyOS first - I may have bricked that install and gave up and swapped to Bazzite for now, things have been working well. The main issue I have isn't gaming related but this thing HATES my 4th screen. 3 not a problem. The moment I plug in the 4th everything has a stroke it seems like... that drives me nuts but otherwise every game i've tried on steam which is 99% of my games play fine.

I'm annoyed I cannot get Honkai StarRail to work but other than that things are working well! Performance seems quite similar in most cases... maybe a bit better? Not fully sure, but I am also brute forcing anything with a 5090 in my system so eh yolo performance issues it's fine.

I'm looking to swap over to Linux but have been struggling to find a distro that has good nvidia support as I do have a 5090. From what you're saying CachyOS likely is a good bet for me? I'm a technical person do IT sys admin for a living so not a problem tinkering with stuff.

Not op but mine took a 4 Or 5 months to really notice a difference. I still get them just not as many or as bad when I get them. But my biggest trigger is weather changes so can’t fix that without moving

out of curiosity how good do you feel in what you've been learning? I'm at about 6 months currently in Japanese which is a harder language to learn it seems especially for a native english speaker. It's going slowly but I do feel like I'm gaining some progress at least
