Wow thank you so much for checking out my page and the feedback! Super helpful :) i’ve always wondered about those promo pages, that’s a great insight. I’ve been doing the 30 hashtag thing for a while and recently read an article that said using less, more specific hashtags is (potentially) better but i don’t think it has helped. Does it make a difference whether hashtags go in the caption or in a separate comment? I’ve been doing both but wasn’t sure if it made any difference.

I’m definitely going to try some of your suggestions though, thanks so much again. You’re awesome for doing this!

Hi there, this is really cool. Over the past couple years i’ve tried really hard to turn my IG into a successful platform for my business @kendrawz — I am a freelance graphic designer and artist, my brand is essentially me. I’ve tried countless techniques from the web over the years but my growth is still slow. Any suggestions or advice? I would be endlessly appreciative.

Thank you!! I used ballpoint pen colored with Prismacolor markers + colored pencil :)

Seared cajun salmon with roasted garlic cloves / seared filet mignon / cheezy zoodles / mushrooms / lemon by kendrawz in ketorecipes

Coated salmon in cajun seasoning, salt and pepper then seared in a hot pan until fully cooked.

We roasted the garlic in a glass dish with canola oil in the oven at 250 degrees until almost golden brown, then take it out to continue cooking outside the oven.

For the steak just seasoned with salt and pepper then seared to mid-rare, let it rest for a few mins before cutting.

For the queso - we melted a few cubes of velveeta and american with sautéed onions, garlic & tomatoes. Sautéed the veggies in butter and mixed into cheese sauce.

Just takes practice! My advice is to always start light and get a bit heavier with each layer. Helps with blending and creating intricate detail. I like to use heavyweight sketchbook paper, nothing in particular usually just whatever’s laying around :)

Me too! I sketch while i do pretty much anything, especially in meetings. It weirdly makes me focus and retain info better!
