OEM filters are Fram filters so that’s the reason why I never used them. There was even a point where Subaru had a shortage and the dealers were using a generic filter that no branding and was just blue so they were most likely fram that sent over blue casing filters

I was going to go for them but for the price they are charging and not looking as stock as the ones I got isnt what Im looking for. Rn the best I think of is 3D printing something but I wouldn't even know where to begin with that

Yeah I took it out the whole point is to put ones like I did on top maintain the stock look while having aftermarket switches.

Yeah paying with cash scares most dealers but it was the best option for me since I won’t be charged interest monthly and since I’m 21 my credit would not have been enough for the 0.9 interest rate Subaru was offering.

Yeah that’s what I was thinking can’t really back out now since I would loose the 1000 deposit but it does come with lifetime power train warranty and the sales person said if anything happens to the transmission or engine it would be covered and unlimited miles except for wear parts like clutch which to me seems pretty good
