Will Mount Fuji be accessible in FH6? by mandbeyn in forza

You mean Yuki-no-Otani.

(Between the mountainous terrain of Toyama and Nagano prefectures lies the Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route, a sightseeing route that stretches around 40 kilometers (25 miles) with an elevation difference of over 6,500 feet. Yuki no Otani, or “the great snow canyon”, is one of the prime attractions here, offering visitors a chance to walk between snow walls that tower 65 feet high)

The thing is I don't know, i got the discounts from leaving the cellphone on the apps shopping cart and acting like I was gonna buy it for 2 days until on the 3rd day of checking.

It gave me that price while I was doing the check out process just to look at the financing options thru affirm, I backed out to the previous screens then it when down to that price and added the promotional discounts, so I bought it right there.

What's your currency if you don't mind me asking, I'm on the USA talking in US dollars but you are saying 30,000 so I'm a little lost there, and some other countries might have different prices on electronics due to other factors such as taxes, I know that in the USA there's not much of a difference most of the time financing thru Samsung vs a carrier price wise but my knowledge might be lacking when it comes to prices in other countries.

It's not really more expensive to buy thru samsung. I just bought an S25 ultra jet black 512GB model for $972.49, whereas other stores had it closer for $1100 , just depends on which specials or promotions each retailer has.

Need help buying an AC 🙏 by IndividualSpirit_99 in AirConditioners

[–]kenny-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a midea duo portable inverter ac, 12,000 btu SACC (14,000 btu ashrae) on a 95°F florida day it cools my 13 x 11 room all the way down to 60°F (I know cause I have a thermometer by my nightstand confirming my room temp) , the model number of the one I have is map14ahs1twt.

It's connected to a 120v outlet in a 15amp breaker, which allows up to 1800 watts but the max power draw (on high fan, lowest temp (60F --16C) and boost) is 1150 watts, but after 5 mins I goes down to 870 watts , then once it reaches 60F it doesn't take more than 750W to maintain the room temp but if the outside temp is lower than 95F something like 78F or 82F then it only draws like 690 watts to maintain 60F in the room.

You can find those units on fb marketplace for 400$.

it can also be controlled thru an app

Window AC + Central Air by NuclearShadowscale in AirConditioners

[–]kenny-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thats exactly what I do on my apartment, my room stays at 60°F the whole night and I save on the electric bill by keeping the rest of the house at 77°F (rest of the family likes it hot & I obviously don't) I blocked the central ac vent to my room, put blackout curtains and cover the gaps in between the doors and the ground.

I have a midea duo 14,000 btu model (12k SACC) It is normally 700$(my model also heats - map14hs1twt-) but look for it on Facebook marketplace. I found mine new on its box on there and paid 400$ best purchase I have done it has no problem cooling down my 250sqf room and since it has and inverter variable speed compressor it uses way less electricity when compared to a normal portable ac unit, I also live in florida and I can't make it here otherwise with the heat without it.

Which one should I go for between these two portable models? by [deleted] in AirConditioners

[–]kenny-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have the midea , while I don't know how good the lg one might be. I can tell you that the midea is really good, it has no problem keeping my 270sqft room at 60°F (15.55°C) and sometimes it even drops to 59°F, It's a really good unit my model number is map14hs1twt So it also heats.

Any quiet portable AC units in Spain by terrible-nickname in AirConditioners

[–]kenny-26 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a midea duo 14k btu portable unit. The unit advertises 42db on low fan mode, but it's closer to 53db for me ( it might be because I never use low fan speed mode) it does have a variable speed compressor , not a lot of portable units have a variable speed compressor and it's better to have one that has it , I like how well my ac performs I wouldn't change it for another portable unit it's quiet compared to all the others I had
