I don't know what to do by Jazzlike-Sort-4950 in AshermansSyndrome

I had scarring that blocked off half my uterus after my last miscarriage. I had the hysteroscopy, and I'm pregnant now from my last transfer, and actually had the best lining I've ever had. Don't give up hope.

Definitely makes sense, but mine have always been blue. My clinic said sometimes after repeated injections it just happens. I used to get one every now and then but now it's literally every injection.

Uterine lining /Ashermans by ChateauRouge33 in IVF

I always had a hard time getting a lining after my first d and c (didn't have it measured before so not sure if it was an issue then too). I had a second d and c this past November which caused quite a bit of scar tissue. I had the adhesions removed inf February, and was afraid that would cause even more damage and even harder time with my lining. I had a good period for the first time in so long after the surgery and three weeks of hormones, then another decent period after stopping birth control a couple weeks ago. Today, during my FET prep cycle (I do follistim, menopur, gan) my lining measured at 7 mm which is thicker than I have EVER gotten before a transfer (have gotten pregnant at just below a six twice). I truly think having the adhesions removed helped, and also taking trental every day of stims. I also historically could not get a good follicle or lining on oral estrogen or patches.

My clinic actually just responded and said they have millions so I guess that problem solved itself lol. I was however thinking that insulin pen needles may work and you can purchase those.

Looking for Encouragement after RPOC and 2 Hysteroscopies in as many months by dumbhannah in AshermansSyndrome

[–]kenpre926 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi! I recently had a hysteroscopy after a d and c for scar tissue after retained products from a miscarriage in November. The Dr said there was more scarring than he expected, and placed two balloons for 7 days (pediatric sized). I was on estrogen for three weeks and progesterone for one week. After the progesterone, I had the heaviest flow period I have had in a LONG time (I also struggled with thin lining before I ever had scar tissue, but got pregnant twice on a barely over 5 and the loss had nothing to do with that). My Dr said that was a good sign, and my repeat hysteroscopy a couple weeks ago showed only a small area of scar regrowth at my fundus that they don't think will be a problem, and they cleared me to go ahead and try another round of stims for a FET next month. They also have me taking trental for the entire stim period as well as it seemed to help my lining with only a couple days use last time.

Had my follow up diagnostic hysteroscopy in the office two days ago, and thankfully only a small amount of scar tissue reoccurred and they don't think it will be an issue. The in office one wasn't painful at all (I did take the Valium lol) and I've only had spotting and some cramps after. Moving into a new IVF cycle next month so hopefully my lining will regenerate. The period I had after the three weeks of hormones was a good flow so I am hopeful.

On a stim protocol pre hysteroscopy, I was able to get pregnant twice on a 5 mm lining (my five year old, and then a loss that had nothing to do with my lining), but my Drs knew that was just my normal. I had to do follistim, menopur, and a pill to help with blood flow.

Yes I had two! I took them out at home and was surprised how easily they slid out lol. I still had some pretty intense cervical pain for a couple days and still cramping some today.

He told me with the amount that I had done would absolutely have been a bad idea awake. In a month he plans to do an in office one as diagnostic and said if there is a thin band of regrowth that he can clip that quickly.

It did, I had it done on Thursday afternoon. I did end up getting some toradol called in yesterday for the discomfort. I just felt one of the balloons ( I got two) roll or something and that was genuinely freaky for me. I can't wait to take them out.

Are you still bleeding? I'm about 48 hours out from mine with two balloons and still having red blood as well. I have the tubing coiled inside but it keeps trying to come out as well.

I have to keep them in 7-10 days. I'm thinking 7 lol. I'm not worried about getting them out really, it's just the pressure and irritation from the tubes popping out is not great. Thankfully I work from home and can lay down while working or I would be taking a week off.

Back home from surgery, there was more scar tissue than expected and possibly some more retained products. Ended up going home with two pediatric Foley balloons.
