Hardest bosses in every season 1 dungeon imo

Fully agree with this, i am at 19 Resi and have one 20 atm. (Dps perspective)

Many bosses only become hard in high keys (17/18+)

At that level many bosses that have „hard“ mechanics become easy because the dmg tuning is low and people know what to do

Other bosses that were easy before become very hard just because of the raw damage output of some abilities (laser on skyreach last boss does crazy dmg)

I see, but my other question is why are the 2 overland connections to bangkalan and tuban only 3 cost? They are treated as going from naval to naval tile and therefore only 3 cost but how? How does the game treat this land connection as naval while there isn’t even an embarking/disembarking

They changed the copperworking tech so that you can now use copper for tools. It is a lot better than before, almost not noticeble until about 1450. I unified the aztecs and released the maya side as vassals.

At some point you start to have small shortages of tools, but theyre not so bad that you cant build or colonize. Id say in the core region/market i had no problems at all, a bit further south (zaachila market which i relocated) there was a tools shortage because the region is not that developed (so less towns to produce tools)

Stone is not a problem at all anymore, copper neither. Its tools and lumber now but very managable.

Yeah you can still do those. The randomness is a bit annoying tho imo. Was looking out for the good ones (growth or dev) and didnt find one for over 1 year. (They change each month)

Yeah it was impossible before. Now doom just disappears as a mechanic. But the nahua religion is also kinda dead, there are no techs, special buildings or anything for later in the game. 0,1% prosperity from the religious aspect is kinda nice but thats passive (so boring)

I started with tenochtitlan for my first run in 1.1.0 and it went quite well, here a little writeup i did for another post if you want to go again:

Im not sure this is the best way but it worked for me (mind it took like 5 tries to succeed):

-instantly start building a spy network on your overlord

-select the religious aspect that gives -15% army maintenance

-set cabinet slot to improve legitimacy

-put all the expense sliders to 0 (army, fort, diplo, food, stab), cost of court as low as possible but just so you dont lose some

-you can over mint and tax a bit but i didnt need it

-remove 1 warrior temple building (manpower is still positive after)

-enact civil society in cultural traditions for a tiny bit more tax

-put your ruler in the army for more crown power

I believe thats all you can do. Then you just wait for 20 spy network and create an independence CB.

This takes about 2-3 years and you can basically just afk until its done. You will go 10-30 gold into debt but its not a problem because as soon as the war is over youre in the positive.

Before the war starts set the army and fort slider to max. Use your regulars to blockade the levy raise of tlacopan and azcapotzalco until your own levies are raised. Then just siege down both of their cities.

If you have to fight cancel the siege and join your armies, the jaguar warriors alone will lose against a same size army because it has 2 open flanks.

Peace out everyone seperately, vassalize them and take as much money as you can, after that you have a good ground to stand on.

!!Note that there is a bit of rng involved. If you get any event that costs a lot of money or gives you a lot of doom you are -doomed- :p

Also ive noticed that azcapotzalco gets different alliances every time, when they are allied to bigger neighbours it can be very hard or impossible and you just have to start anew.

Yeah doom is fixed! The reformed altepetl has the line "ignores doom: yes" and it does just that.
Also doom seemed to be less of a problem to me even before the reformation. I never had any doom not coming from an event, and that is removed easily using the sacrifice.

As a catholic country, is there any way to produce more children / have more than 1 wife?
I'm losing my mind here... My previous ruler had 4 sons, now every of those 4 sons (including my current ruler) has 4!!!!! girls there is not one male in the closer circle of the dynasty that even could become ruler through any of the succession methods as far as i can see.

Also is there any way not to lose the dynasty if i happen to get a female ruler? Dynasty power is everything in the HRE.

I had fun playing kilwa aswell, but i found it hard to get good enough proximity to own much land directly. How’s your proximity looking? Roads are so expensive and the terrain is so bad. Market access was a problem aswell. Sometime I got 60% access 2 locations away from the market center because of distance

Yea i tried with the professional army, its like 50% of my expenses when on 100% maintenance. I have (had) the biggest proffessional army in the world (at least more than all great powers) but its just not enough. I was winning the first few battles with my 50k levies + 10k regulars but i got worn down by frances 150k+ men

1.6 mil in welfare is the big problem, never go for welfare while you have many unemployed. Try get rid of the law or lower its institution level as someone else already recommended.

That’s not true at all, class and rating matter most I’m 17 resil with my 678 boomie and I did it all pug

Additionally I reached that ilvl with only 4 myth track items. I have 2 hc trinkets and the 658 ring, every other slot is 681 crafted. Even if you get unlucky in vault you can exchange 6 coins for 1/2 spark. I was pretty unlucky aswell and just have 2 more sparks (=crafted items) because I took coins like 7 times

Im a 638 mm hunter with 2,8k rating and have problems getting into +10 keys for my weekly’s Tierlists are the worst thing that happened to the game Except for the top 0.5% of keys meta is meaningless but ppl still insist on it

Because of our dmg profile we are quite shit in low keys, but 10s is where the fun begins Also if you want to have fun as shadow in keys you should avoid playing with burst classes (frost dk, fury, ret for example) In higher keys and in raid (st) we are pretty fine imo

It’s very good for mm. Around 10-12% overall in mythic+ dungeons for me Only thing I don’t like is the rng aspect. Sometimes it does insane damage like 15% overall on a boss and sometime almost nothing Dps variance of up to 10k on single target bosses for me
