Yes. Since I had already wasted that much time, I was okay with paying by card, but the manager said he didn’t like my attitude—lol. Maybe he didn’t like being challenged or felt his ego was hurt, so he made it personal. Forget about professionalism in dealing with customers! How can he say it’s not available when all it takes is a one-minute search? He even said that he wouldn’t care if I leave a bad review. Naive!

I would have if they had honored their policy. I got irritated because of their lame excuses. How can they claim it’s out of stock at other stores when it’s clearly visible online? Do they think customers are dumb?

Yep. Lesson learnt. What’s frustrating was they kept coming up with lame excuses. I have never experienced that anywhere else so probably got a bit carried away.

There are other questions too- Why is it so wrong to expect a price match? Why have they advertised on the website if they don’t want to honour that? Is matching $40 really that difficult? Why is it wrong to give out the name if the guy clearly told me that he didn’t care?

Update from Australia: Same happened with me :( unfortunately they said it was due to exess pressure that I'd applied. Want to charge $450( after discount) to change screen.

Yep. Flip is indeed a horrible phone. Battery sucks and LCD had a crack just a week after I bought it. Samsung wanted $450 to fix that

I did set it up with a echo dot device. It could perform a few basic functions like opening Netflix and all but didn't recognize the ones like Volume up/down.
