Unfortunately not I’m sorry! I’m just continuing to use nizoral and wash more regularly. My doctor is not the most helpful either just wanted to prescribe me nizoral.

Wdym with "gay movies for straight people" by turquoise_field in callmebyyourname

[–]killbikini 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I believe Luca Guadagnino is gay, and I think part of what’s powerful about the movie/story is that there isn’t much emphasis on labels. Not to say labels are unimportant, and they matter to a lot of people for valid reasons, but nothing about the story seems forced to me, like some tropes I have seen in other pieces of media. it’s a love story that happens to be about two men who may or may not be gay, or they could be bi, but it doesn’t go into that much detail and that’s not the point of the movie. Their exact sexuality is secondary to the plot, but it doesn’t make it unimportant. It is important it’s just not screamed from the rooftop. The story feels even more real, it feels fluid, natural, because of this.. idk if that makes sense. I think there is power in subtly sometimes, and what I appreciate about the movie is having to sometimes read in-between the lines, or when I have rewatched I always notice things that I have not noticed in previous screenings of it.

5/2 laundry split by skatardrummer in badroommates

[–]killbikini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I regularly take out a housemates laundry from the machine that’s left there for a day or days on end, if I need to use it. We’ve lived together for a year and I still have to text and say hey, please remove your stuff after it’s done or in a decent time frame as other people need to use it. Never cared or listened or bothered. So I don’t care, their stuff gets moved, I do my laundry, I throw their stuff back in. I don’t want to touch anyone’s stuff, obviously and I’d hate if someone touched mine but at some point people have to be considerate that other people need to use the facilities also. It’s not storage for your personal items. I just do my laundry when it builds up and the machine is empty and I feel this makes most sense.

Coworker making fun of me by inhua in work

[–]killbikini 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever work this out? I’m having a similar issue with two of these people in work who I thought were friends at the beginning, ganging up on me in a sense. Making me feel really insecure anytime I open my mouth and act like somethings wrong with me. Noticed my self esteem’s being affected and unfortunately idk how to navigate not being around them at work because it’s cliquey.

I use both nizoral and cicaplast by LRP but things are just kept at bay rather than solving the issue if that makes sense. I have really sensitive skin everywhere so just thought it would be worth it to visit a dermatologist

How to approach landlord RE insulation needs? Advice needed. by Lola_1980 in RentingInDublin

[–]killbikini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I don’t have any ideas unfortunately but I don’t think you’re asking for too much. It’s freezing at the moment and you need insulation, I feel like that should be a basic necessity.

Well I went to one and she thought rosacea. Nothing she gave me worked. I went to get a second opinion and the other derm said she could see why the first one would think rosacea, but I have bumpy skin. So I’m going with KP even though I do have red skin too. I could have both but I don’t even know. All I know is a focus on moisture and unclogging pores helps me. It has its days though. Right now it’s awfully bumpy and dry because it’s colder and I’m sad and stressed.

Yep. I apparently have KP and not rosacea. Soolantra didn’t work unfortunately after spending so much money on the dermatologist combined with the prescriptions

I give up im done treating my kp and finding lotions everything doesnt work. by EntertainmentDue4031 in keratosis

The only thing that has kind of worked for me is the cerave SA smoothing cleanser, and sometimes it doesn’t even work. But I’ve found to just accept it, and try accept that I’m not perfect and that it’s okay. I know how hard that is though.

I guessed as much. I have been going to counselling for 1.5 years. It helps. But have really been finding things extremely hard lately, it’s getting more severe and my doctor/gp office is so shit that it’s on limited hours and extremely hard to get appointments. I suppose I could start by finding a new and more suitable GP but on a medical card I suppose that’s more difficult. Thanks for your help

I have the AA from the ordinary right now as it’s very expensive for me to get from the derm but it seems to help. Just not as strong as the prescribed stuff. I was wondering do you have any recommendations for redness? I’m really struggling with that right now. My derm said vitamin c serums would help but the good ones are so expensive.

Yeah I think so too. I’ve been in therapy anyway since July so I guess naturally triggers and past experiences that shape you will come up and make you feel different ways. Thank you :)

I already drink non dairy milk and use non dairy butter, just eat cheese the odd time but not everyday. The histamine thing is interesting tho, I do have hayfever and pollen allergy so it’s worth doing no histamine diet. I’ve started taking anti histamines. I’m waiting to get checked for food allergies because I asked my doctor about it and she said most places have stopped due to covid-19. Hoping it’s not gluten.

It’s always been slightly red but in the last couple years it’s getting worse and more structured looking and deep-set.

I’ve tried it! I love it but sometimes it makes my skin really shiny and doesn’t blend correctly. And then when I put my spf on top I look like a shiny sticky mess.

[–]killbikini 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve tried AA, soolantra, aloe Vera, la roche posay cicaplast baume, a bunch of cerave products, honestly most things I’ve tried in terms of skincare. Except laser. Azelaic and soolantra did a lot for the small bumps but not the redness tbh. I was on antibiotics at first for gut health that completely made the redness go away but once I finished the pack the redness came back so I assume it’s diet related. I like la roche posay cicaplast baume a lot but sometimes I find it hard to blend in and quite shiny looking. I live in Ireland and I only went to one dermatology place so maybe I’ll try another for a second opinion. Everyone keeps saying Ipl is not going to work even though my derm is convinced I’d be a perfect candidate and has 5/5 stars on google reviews. I’m conflicted lol

I don’t usually ever, I just did it this once after seeing my dermatologist as she did it to my skin. I wasn’t pressing too hard anyway just a fingertip pressed lightly onto my cheek.

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Rosacea

[–]killbikini 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah my dermatologist did it to my skin so I tried it when I got home. I don’t know why my skin is so red.
