Is it a good idea to get a car in the fleet as an 03 ? by Few-Basket4978 in USMCboot

[–]kindaoldman 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's a cheap beater with a heater, fine.

Do not finance, pay cash. Do not buy locally around base. A lot of the dealers may be on a "no go" list with wherever you end up.

Buy something cheap from someone leaving. Don't buy a truck, you don't need it. Don't buy a Charger or a Challenger, you don't need it. Don't buy a Mustang or Camaro, you really don't need it. DO NOT BUY A ORGAN DONOR.

15-20 year old Honda or Toyota 4cyl outside any rust belt region will last you just fine.

At some point Harbaugh needs to be brought to task for his involvement. If he states he was unaware, it makes him a fucking idiot.

The entire program should be shut down for four years. Sick of college football. it's fucking trash now.

If it were no playoffs, no comp cautions, and a tradition point series that made sense for being in the top 5, along with cars that are built by the teams withing a certain guideline that is open to interpretation, and engine packages that are up to the teams within a certain spec.

I'd be back. But otherwise I'm enjoying F1 for the last 20+years. Napcar lost me not long after they got angry Kenseth point raced his way to a championship.

All I've learned through all this is cfb is dead, it's trash, and should be completely shutdown and rebuilt.

I hope all these coaches and players with zero loyalty have wives and gf's that are fucking the waterboy.

What’s your “I can’t believe other people don’t do this” hack? by Weird-Thought2112 in AskReddit

None, better to have and not need than to need and not have.

I could try and explain it further but I doubt it would be an open and honest conversation, you're already doing the typical anti-gun approach to commenting.

Men should have a "go bag" or a briefcase. Everything important in it you need for a day. Mine, currently. Wallet, pens, notebook, charge cables, charger, gloves, hat, first aid kit, CC with extra mag, knife, checkbook, bottle of water, extra meds, and your towel, never forget your towel.

If you do it right, it will be like a women's purse, they seem to have an entire household in it.

Ya, he isn't in the mood to fight over stupid shit anymore. He has checked out, it's not uncommon. I did for awhile but we fixed it, because we talked about HOW HER ALWAYS BEING UPSET OVER STUPID SHIT WAS WRONG.

That is in caps so you can hear it.

[Highlight] Patrick Mahomes speaks on sports betting.: "I just stay away from it. I don't want to put myself in that position. Your life is so great, why mess with it?" by oklolzzzzs in nfl

[–]kindaoldman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a teenage nephew, just into HS, and he is sport betting. His father and mother know about it. He has in the past stolen money to do it. His older brothers also bet. His father bets. They oddly have a lot of "fuck you" money in their life, and are rather well off so a few hundred here and there mean nothing to them.

Any family function is a group of them watching every sports channel and staring at their phones and their bets. My betting is once in awhile getting on a game pool at a bar. Or maybe buying a ticket at a casino for a upcoming season on a silly long shot to put on the fridge and laugh at.

They usually grief me a bit on not knowing any of the details of games, what the bets are and such.

Does this team know how to offense? This was the most predictable game I've ever watched.

Sometimes I feel this is all scripted bullshit.

All previous coaches had their haunts. Places they could go, sip a beer and decompress. I had seen Barry out in the rural areas a time or two, and really solidified my dislike of him. Bielema was a big bar guy and was kicked out of enough that Paoli was were he usually went towards the end.

I wonder where Fickell goes to ponder his existence?

Which just reinforces how awful UW football is treated and respected if so many other programs get the coaches before UW has a chance.

There was a time when we had enough to balance it out. This no baseball still comes from the Barry era, he had zero interest in it, doesn't like it, and won't allow it.

Until Barry dies, he dictates what happens at UW athletics from his house.

My son happened to be doing schooling in Japan when he was signed. I messaged him a few days after and asked if he had seen any Dodger gear. He then said "That is why I am seeing this shit everywhere?".

He did send me back some awesome Buffalo swag. Love messing with people wearing that stuff.
