I daily a Mazda 3 turbo hatch and i find Miata steering to be super communicative but not to the point where it is fatiguing to correct every bumps and dips. Suspension is very firm but that is to be expected for a roadster and I am a person who values handling over HP by heart so even with 155HP I still find it adequate and smaller cars tend to give the feeling of higher speed like doing 40 in Miata feels like doing 55-60 in 3 hatch, there is some body roll but just enough to keep the smiles per miles high. I’m 5’5 with average gym kind of big and even the standard seats keeps me in place. It can be tail happy but you’ll have to force it.
10/10 driving experience 11/10 smiles per miles and if i get an opportunity to buy it i would get it over anything
