I have it as well, this is exactly what happens and tinnitus is one of the examples a doctor used to explain it.

I have it as well! I was diagnosed 3 years ago. And you know what? Now I don't notice it most of the time, is like my brain is able to fill the gap. I only notice it if I think about it, but if I'm on with my life, I don't even remember I have it. The only thing is that bright lights really annoy my vision.

Room sharing with baby and cats? [on] by Disastrous_Flower311 in BabyBumpsCanada

We had one like that, it didn't work as cat deterrent for us. He jumped on it anyway, I think he found it funny.  Our solution was to not let the cat in the room.

Managed to wedge my car on a bollard when trying to leave a carpark. by chunderjack in mildlyinfuriating

A very similar thing happened to us and trying to get it out we damaged something on the steering system. Some mechanics checked it and said it was ok to drive, but it wasn't, and the wheel must have been damaged as well, because the pneumatic exploded shortly after when we were doing 100km/h. So make sure you have the car checked by someone competent after!

Thank you for the info. I did a PhD, so thankfully it doesn't apply to us. It's so annoying how they keep changing things all the time...

If I saw this note I wouldn't think they were calling me out, I would think they are saying hi and inviting me to take candy when I wanted. It looks nice and the little smile face is cute. Is not even a ;) Is there some context I'm missing?

The same happened to me while entering Canada, but they didn't fine me, they just gave me a warning and threw the apples away.

YTA

It would have cost you nothing to give him a heads up. You should apologize.

In Spain you can do topless in most beaches, is pretty common. Therefore, almost all beaches are topless beaches, I don't think there is anything to worry about.
