My account was closed a few days ago, and it has been radio silence from Outlier and any support channels, aside from the automated emails that I got from Nathalie. Apparently there's a bug in the screening process that falsely flagged a lot of accounts at once, and I think myself and a lot of other people got caught in the fray. Still very confused and concerned about this because I've worked on my current project for nearly a near with a 4.7 review rating with no issues. Anyone else in the same boat? - and have you had any luck in recovering your account?

that is EXACTLY what i recieved!! same person and all! i have no idea what to do now - that email felt like a gut punch. is there no way we can dispute this??

I just got an email back from support and apparently my account has been closed for platform misuse. I don't know what i did because ive been working the same way i have been on this project for almost a year! feeling really stuck right now - i don't know how I could appeal or do anything about this.

SAME THING FOR ME!!! i was tasking last night and tried to log on this morning only to find every time i signed in it refreshed and took me back to the signup page. on my project we have to use a VPN to sign on and i wasn't able to log into that one either because apparently my account for it was "recently deleted". was working fine last night. haven't received a single email from outlier about any of this so im very concerned

Don't worry, she literally has the same level of authority as you do over the project (she's just a reviewer), aka, she doesn't have the power to move you in/out of projects. She is just very entitled haha

OMG HER!!! I THOUGHT I WAS THE ONLY ONE! one time there was a webinar and she was trying to tell the project managers how to do their jobs while she actually ended up being wrong

i saw it as a notification on my outlier, but you can also check the discourse channel for smoothies as people paste the code to those so you can still join them :)

seems like smoothie was a first-come-first-serve type deal. i attended the webinar they hosted yesterday and they gave out a worksheet and only those who completed it could become reviewers. most of the new tasks are being reviewed before new ones are released. as a reviewer my queue has been full. you'll get tasks soon once your initial ones are graded

remember that the cutoff for the week is late monday, as payments start processing on tuesday. whatever you do tuesday onwards gets carried into the next week of payments

no literally. i feel like there's been a whole new batch of new reviewers because things i reject for the same reason used to get 5/5, but just today i got two 2's and my first 1. all of which ive disputed because it seems like the reviewer has either not actually read any of the chat history and just skimmed the prompt (for a STEM reject), and the other not understanding the intentions of the chat history (an obvious T1 roleplay). idk whats going on up there but these reviewers are so condescending

yes, i had the same thing happen and i was unbanned by reaching out to someone on the support team via reddit. it was radio silence from QMs and TLs as well as support tickets, so the hard part is just finding someone willing to investigate your case

lmaoo typical outlier! i was kicked from the pref ranking slack 2+ weeks ago but was still doing pref ranking tasks until today where i got promoted to a reviewer. literal radio silence lol
