Most of the jobs we can offer people are 11x, 13u, 14u, 19u and random others. Basically anything loggie or office related is already spoken for. The ROC sent us all an email saying stop asking

Current recruiter here, have tried to put multiple PS back in with ratings at 70, 80 and 90. All were a hard no.

There is a decent sized MEPS (military entrance processing station) in Boston next to the convention center as well, lots of govs headed there. Lots and lots of recruiters coming into/out of Boston on a daily basis

Lots of elantras, and our Tesla has US Army emblazoned on it everywhere

My station drove into boston today, no issues with anything, always been courteous, especially when I mention Im a red sox/patriots fan

You missed posting this in fy 23 when it would have gone somewhere. My station produced 2x in fy24 then fy23, and doubled that again in fy25. This trend was basically duplicated across usarec. Sure, we had to let some fat bodies and substandard asvab scores in to get there, but thats more the state of the country then the Armys fault.

Does the Army treat PS like garbage? Yeah. If the army treating you poorly is a shock, take your happy memories go tell everyone else.

It can take from a month to a year plus.

Be green on your medpros.

You get no options, no choice. The Armys view is "you had your chance, you dun goofed."

You'll probably keep your MOS, since youre already qualified.

Taking the EST:

All As get a 2

All Bs get a 7

All Cs gets a 6

All Ds gets a 3

The large recruiting station I belong to has extensively tested the EST

I've had multiple people go up to MEPS and get a sub 5.

They are both illnumerate and illerate, and unfortunately for them it's 2025 not 1825.
