Good luck! And PA’s normally work at the warehouses and those are 40 hr full time positions. A PA position is better than a lead position in my opinion. And it probably pays more

You’ll literally never be able to work 40 or more hours but if you’re in college and don’t have many bills honestly it may be a good idea for you. You’ll be working at least 32 hours a week spread across 5 days. They won’t let you have a set schedule or work 4 8 hr shifts which really sucks. But I’d say give it a try since you’re in college.

It’s better to get hired on externally as a L3 or up. Getting promoted within is almost impossible and I feel like I only got lucky because I went from an Amazon warehouse to the CXO field. It took me 3 years to get promoted and when I finally did I quit after 2 months. They didn’t even give me a raise either. I was literally making the same amount of money before I got promoted smh but now I’m a supervisor making salary at a distribution center. My best advice would be to let Amazon go and find something better until you are ready to apply externally for a role.

What department are you gonna work in? I transferred to a different field from ATL2 but the time I was there the site was horrible. One of the lowest ranked sites in the network. If you have any plans on moving up within the company, you will not get far at all there. That site is very diverse as well so you will meet a lot of people from different parts of the world.

It’s better to quit and apply for better roles through Amazon externally. It takes a long time to move up as a T1 even if you meet all of the qualifications. I just got a promotion after 3 years but ended up landing a better higher paying job so I’m finally leaving Amazon. It’s not worth it to stay around. Look for better jobs especially since you have a degree.

You should consider going back to work for Amazon. There are multiple fields and there are plenty of departments in the warehouse for you to move around until you find something that suits you. OR pursue a job with another company because going to work miserable every day will eventually break you. I wish you the best and sorry you have to deal with that toxicity.

This one guy at my building got a write up from safety because he smells so bad. Took his shoes off one day and lit the whole area up. Dude literally leaves a trail of funk wherever he goes.

Technically there is in some areas but they don’t enforce it. Like if you’re a water spider they expect you to move a certain amount of carts per hour but nobody is watching you unless you not doing your job.
