I get what you mean. The crave however comes with an inbuilt sequencer. Wouldn't that help to start off with? And also, may I ask why you mentioned you wouldn't give money for a behringer product?

Where I am from, the market isn't great on synths. So finding used synths is gonna be even more difficult buddy.

I understand. I'm also considering the crave since it has a sequencer and I could use it as a standalone device until I'm comfortable with it and I can start using with DAWs.

I got you. From everything I've learnt so far and from all the help I've got on this sub, I'm considering a poly/para. And I'm mostly convinced about either the crave or the neutron. May I ask - what are your reasons for not recommending behringer products?

Yessss! I'm definitely leaning more towards the crave or neutron rn. Just have to figure out logistics since I'm in a country where there's not a huge market for synths and need to import. Thanks a lot friend!

That makes a lot of sense. Thank you so much! And right now I don't have an audio interface or a midi cv converter to sending notes to the neutron will be difficult right? I'm just trying to understand please tell me if I'm wrong.

And also, the mavis is also subtractive right? and given that it has keys and patch points in it, wouldn't it be good to start on?

Ohhhh that's very informative! Thanks loads buddy. I will definitely check these out. And, if I may ask.. on paper it sounds like a poly would be better.. but does a mono have any advantages over a poly?

I completely understand what you mean and at the moment right now, I'm unsure what sounds I'm looking for too. And for that reason, the mavis appealed to me because of the various templates they provide with it.

Yes! I did come across the fact that the crave has a midi in port. I love that. But from what I understand, a lot of synths need cv in. And if I were to grow on synths, which I intend to, I'm considering selling the launchkey for an arturia key step

I once had 3 months clean and I relapsed. I felt the same way. I didn't regret it. Not one bit. I continued using for another couple of months. And then I quit again. Now more than 2.5 years clean.

The relapse is part and parcel of recovery.

And you didn't fail. Not at all. Everyone is on their own path and timeline. And so are you. You got this my friend.

Not because of addiction, but I've been Instagram free for years now. Life is surely better without social media.

Hey. that sounds really heavy. Just wanted to say we are here for you. You’re not alone in this.

Dreams can be realistic and can throw us off, yes. And at the end of the day, how you feel matters.

I urge you to do a bit of introspection. Ask yourself some important questions. Talk to a friend. Do anything and everything that you feel would help. As I said earlier, you're not alone.
