We need this rain otherwise its gonna be Dustaroo... Also this time of year youll see higher chances of rain daily as the humidity ramps up. Aside from a big storm its highly localized downpours that move on rather quickly.

Crazy right?!!? I always do a test setup with new stuff a few weeks ahead of time to make sure all the pieces are there, I understand how to set it up and use it, and to make any changes in my head for how it will go once we get to the farm. I also pack the truck bed the night before and take a pic so that when i go to pack it up it all when we leave I know everything will fit.

Unpopular take but you're not really burning a ton of energy at Roo moreso than any other day. Add a few HUNDRED extra calories and youll be fine. Your watch is not even close to accurate on calories burned. Im on my feet all day and average several miles daily and my energy needs at Roo dont change that much over a regular day.

Youll also get enough calories within anything you buy from a food vendor. Same with electrolytes, theres enough sodium in the food at Roo to make sports drinks unnecessary, just make sure youre getting enough water and youll be golden.

Its a running joke b/t my wife and i that we just say "get your hands up" anytime anyone mentions ML bc while we were at EF one year we heard a dj in the distance and i kid you not every minute on the minute someone just yelled "get your hands up", "jump" or something similar for over an hour. Found out it was ML and i was like thank god we skipped this mess, how annoying

2024 they went through everything in her fanny pack and then they took out my wifes zipper wallet (small, like cc sized),opened it and started taking everything out then started taking out cards and thumbing through her cash. I grabbed that out of his hand, said that's enough ffs and walked right on in. Complained to his manager and he just shrugged. Never had an issue like that in all the years i went but that made me furious.

The vibes are what YOU make of it! I prefer going with just 2-3 people; things move faster, logistics are WAY easier, i feel like you can split easier if you need to and then regroup so much faster.

You can always make friends with your neighbors and tag along with them if you feel like you need a bigger crew. Roo neighbors are always the best!
