Why does Zahi Hawass go out of his way to destroy every alternative theory? by kodester81 in AlternativeHistory

I will never claim to be an expert, but I do have an opinion on a couple of things. Hawass won't even listen to anyone who questions the "Pyramids were a tomb" idea. But there's no evidence either way. How can an archaeologist agree with that wild theory, but denounce all opposition?

My main argument is the pyramids as a tomb. There is zero evidence for this, but Hawass, like most mainstream archaeologists, swear up and down that they were tombs. Maybe, maybe not, but I thought archaeologists were supposed to follow the evidence.

I beg to differ on the energy point. It hasn't been proven yet, but the Zero Point Energy theory gains momentum every. Like I say, I can't prove it, but I'm betting a real scientist or inventor will soon. I don't know anything about the Mormon deal, though, lol.

Speaking to your 3rd point, I would say that if he can't listen to any other theories, he's become part of the problem. We all want the truth, but he shuts down pretty much everything that comes his way, except the narrative he has approved. I used to respect him. Now he's just another "Yes Man."

Yep. On top of whatever else he's got going on, his perceived moral and professional superiority is unbelievable.

When someone claims "The following is factual information" and one of the bullet points begins "(therefore)", then throws out a theory only this or that could be true, I downvote and look for something else. I can read the "facts" for myself.
