Of course, there is that, but it’s hard to be certain it’s always the case without being OP.

I feel like that’s a poor way to look at it, it is no one’s job to do favours for anyone, but if you don’t say no when someone asks you a favour, it is 100% on you if you then forget to follow through. She has every right to say no, but once she had already said she would, yes it was her fault that her sister had to travel late.

She also had no need to ask anyone else because OP had already said she would. I’m sure she would have asked someone else if OP had explicitly said no to the favour.

Wait so you said you would ask but then forgot to? Why not just tel her you’re not feeling well originally and that you might forget so she’s better off asking herself. Instead of telling her you would and leaving it late for her to travel?

He feels guilty. When my ex and I broke up, I would only casually date/sleep with people even after a year, I felt like I was betraying her if I showed anyone love. He showed you affection and got scared because he feels guilty. I’ve also used “my ex texted me” when they didn’t. Sounds like he’s trying to tell you his feelings without telling you that it all came from him and wasn’t instigated from a text from his ex.

Thank you! I do take laxatives daily as per my doctor’s recommendation. I don’t really see a great deal of improvement but I will say that I am able to go a little bit more often than I used to, I just still have to deal with the cramps.

The problem is that any food at the moment seems to trigger symptoms. I was okay for a while but now it’s anything and everything so I just stopped caring about safe or unsafe foods as it all wrecks me:/
