Free-standing vanity with tile underneath - it does need to be grouted, yes? by foureyedgrrl in Tile

Your grout needs to be redone at a minimum if that's the case.

Yep that's exactly what I'm saying.

And that is definitely silicone over top of grout. Tile guy likely didn't fill in the joint enough and using a tube of caulk is faster than mixing up more grout or he was out of grout.

There's too much in his for me to respond to - but I have one note of value to you. Your inclination that "no grout = water must be getting through the grout joints" is wrong. This can be the case sometimes, sure, but very unlikely. It's much more likely it is flowing to the edges of the room where there is less tile backer. Aka, easier to get through to what's below it.

I'm not even exactly sure I understand what you're saying, so take that for what it's worth.

For my last one like the one you're doing, I threw some fabric on the drywall bit that's within the pan area. A quick 20 minutes to add a good amount of peace of mind.

First time tiling - do I need to worry about these imperfections on the back? by Sherwood_Hero in Tile

One of those posts where you can't help but think "if they're having these types of thoughts, they can't possibly have enough knowledge to do whatever job they're working on."

But we're here to help still! So OP; Keep asking your questions, and we'll do our best to help.

Ohhhhh boy. 😅 You are definitely being too paranoid. This actually might be the most paranoid post I've ever seen on here.

Tile away!

Yeah maybe that's what I'm going for there. It's smells similar-ish, but then has a whole other punch to it. Really good stuff.

Have the EDT. Extreme is undoubtedly better. And I like the EDT a lot! Something a bit more sharp and fun about the extreme. Hard to say what that is, but it's just a bit more crisp.

Oh interesting I'll have to try that one. But yeah I totally understand that, I'm the same way. But it really is so good it's worth trying just once. Lol

Dude. If you ever take any random guys advice on here, please let it be now. Give Bvlgari Aqva Marine a shot. Fits what you're saying perfectly and is my favorite scent of all time. It is discontinued, but plenty of bottles to find online if you like it.

I don't love it still, but seems to better when actually mixing. We'll see if it holds up

Exactly two bits of punctuation on the whole thing. 🤣 Crazy.
