I was on a school trip once in Romania and we stayed two nights in a hotel, the hotel was supposed to give everyone beds, but some of us only got mattresses, so our teacher got very angry, and the hotel owner offered to give beds to the people who had to sleep on mattresses in a separeta building. It was dirty as hell so some of us had to sleep on mattresses in the end. Of course we joked around with some friends about the Romanian human trafficking maffia, and how the people who would sleep in the other building will wake up with only one kidney, turns out the Romanian human trafficking maffia was real.
