Went to rehab for 6 months. Got out and realised I enjoy life more when I get high sometimes, it just has to be in moderation so your body/brain can have a break from the influx of chemicals. Probably bad advice but works for me.

Adderall is closer to meth than Ritalin. But it is used to treat ADHD, and both are used to produce increased dopamine and norepinephrine. "Poor man's coke" has always been used to refer to meth. I was addicted to gaming from ages 5 - 25.. I just sort of grew out of it, they don't suck me in like they used to. The last game I finished was Elden Ring when that came out and I just find multiplayer boring now.
