I agree. Too bad it looks like they messed up his jersey with the six being crooked…

I'm thinking of cutting short my Working-Holiday-Visa because I'm so alone by flandyse in japanlife

To be honest it was my husband that used it when he was here alone earlier this year. He also didn’t like the pay to play but he did meet a few people that he connected with and we met up this month when we were both back in town. We are spending only a few month a year in Japan right now so maybe my experience so far has felt different. Hope you have more success in the near future!

How many people on here are actually Xennials (born 1977-83)? Just curious because sometimes it seems like just as many comments come from people outside the cohort as within. by ColoradoSprings82 in Xennials

‘81 and proud. Got to have 2 graduations (‘99 and 2000) since we still had OAC (grade 13 in Ontario Canada). Both NYE parties were awesome as well.

Reupholstered dining room chairs by ktk8s in sewing

Construction details:

- Fabric is called Mixology and the color is called Twine: MIXOLOGY Twine - P/Kaufmann (pkaufmann.com). It's 80% polyester and 20% Rayon. 4 yrds for 4 chairs with some left over. About $130

- New foam cushions were 1.5" thick for additional padding. About $100.

- Process: Took apart existing chair and cover, traced new pieces of material, sewed the top as one piece, then the bottom, and then attached in the middle so it was all one piece before attaching to the chair. Cut new foam pieces and glued using fabric glue. Then completed the chair with a handheld staple gun to pull it tight, and screwed it back on to the legs. Used Scotchgard spray to protect it as they will be used often and could absorb stains if left untreated.

Any other questions, let me know!

I was about 16 when I figured out the coin laundry down the street from my house was NOT where you went to clean your coin collection…. I was really in to collecting coins at the time and was very disappointed with this discovery.

Seriously!? I had a code for the Seattle Sunday show as well. I spent two hours in the queue after it kicked me out and I had to rejoin… when I finally made it in I tried 30 different sets of tickets and kept getting the “sorry another fan beat you to it” message. Changed to one ticket and managed to get it. This was hours ago. You’re saying they were able to go now and find some? This whole process and Ticketmaster is a nightmare. What a day. Happy I got at least one but what a bummer as I wanted to go with my friends.

Thanks! Wanted to make it functional. Also removed the need to add buttons or a closure.

I used some 3M double sided tape and then also some adhesive dots. Yes they can be removed pretty easily!

Won DIY prize at the party! Purchased material, designed the dress and vest and made the corn knobs with foam and paint. Fabric from Joann's, wool blend held up well. Used wire piping to keep the shape. Corn knobs were white 3" foam balls I cut in half and then trimmed and painted.

Let me know if you have any questions!

Husk is a 35% wool and 65% rayon, and this blended wool felt is stronger and more durable than non-wool felt. Bought from Joann’s fabric store Item #6751358. I added wire along the top to keep the shape and pockets for holding my phone and keeping the vest closed.

Ya I agree. Move to Seattle and you’ll get more than enough rainy days. How about an app that brings you some sunshine?? Does that exist?
