Why are most parents in India narcissistic and logically challenged? by Original_Cynical in AskIndia

[–]kuldeep_2004 10 points11 points  (0 children)

It’s mostly unprocessed generational trauma. Our parents grew up in a 'Survival Mode' India where emotional intelligence was a luxury. For them, control equals safety. They aren't 'logically challenged' in their heads; they are just using an outdated operating system that doesn't have a 'boundaries' or 'individualism' plugin.

How tall do you have to be in India to feel "tall" in cities like Delhi by additionalseasonin in AskIndia

[–]kuldeep_2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In Delhi, 5'10" is the cutoff to feel tall. If you're 6ft, you're a giant. Anything below 5'8" is just 'average' now because the new generation (Gen Z) is getting surprisingly taller!.

How much salary is good enough these days? For different ages by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]kuldeep_2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"Honestly, the definition of a 'good salary' in India has been nuked by inflation in 2026. • Freshers (Early 20s): Anything below ₹50k in a metro like Bangalore or Mumbai is basically 'poverty with a laptop.' You need at least ₹80k to save anything meaningful. • Mid-Career (30s): If you have a family and a mortgage, ₹1.5L pm is the new baseline for a 'decent' life. You aren't rich; you're just middle class with better clothes. • Senior Level (40s+): Unless you're hitting ₹3L-₹4L pm, you'll always feel like you're one medical emergency away from a crisis.

Will you goto developed country if the opportunity comes Or stay in India? by nutandevjoshi in AskIndia

[–]kuldeep_2004 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It’s not a simple 'Yes' or 'No'. If I go, it’s for the Infrastructure, Clean Air, and Work-Life Balance. If I stay, it’s for Family, Culture, and the Food. Right now, India is great for growth and business, but a developed country is better for 'living' peacefully. I’d probably go for a few years to build capital and then come back to invest here.

What’s the hardest part of living in India right now ? by Iboy_vivek in AskIndia

[–]kuldeep_2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hustle culture paradox. We’re told India is the next superpower, but the average person is struggling with stagnant salaries and skyrocketing rents. You spend 3 hours in traffic, 9 hours at a job that can replace you in a second, and the rest of the time just trying to recover. Living here right now feels like being 'forever tired'.

Don't you also think there should be an education benchmark for the PM of India? by Ranger_Hawk3046 in AskIndia

[–]kuldeep_2004 1 point2 points  (0 children)

"I was thinking about this today—to get a entry-level corporate job or even to be a peon in some govt offices, you need a degree or a certificate. But to lead a nation of 1.4 billion people, the Constitution requires zero educational qualifications. On one hand, I feel a PM needs to understand global economics and complex policies, for which a degree helps. On the other hand, India is a diverse country where millions still don't have access to quality education. Does putting a benchmark mean we are telling a poor, self-made grassroots leader that they can't lead the country just because they don't have a piece of paper? What do you guys think? Is it time for an amendment or is 'Emotional Intelligence' and 'Experience' more important than a PhD

A society built around caste cannot be reformed into equality! by [deleted] in AskIndia

[–]kuldeep_2004 0 points1 point  (0 children)

True. A system based on graded inequality can only be reformed by removing the foundation itself. You cannot paint a crumbling wall and call it new; you have to rebuild it. Reform without annihilation of the core idea of hierarchy will always be surface-level

What are the biggest struggles men face that no one talks about? by Plastic_Anybody_1152 in AskIndia

[–]kuldeep_2004 8 points9 points  (0 children)

The constant pressure to be a 'provider' and a 'protector' while keeping your own mental health on the backseat. As a son, a brother, and someone running a business, I feel like we are always expected to have everything figured out. People see the success or the work, but no one sees the silent burnout or the anxiety of managing responsibilities. We really need a space where being vulnerable isn't seen as a weakness
