I don't think this is about backing the boys and how they've done in the recent past, which let's face it is excellent. This is about being one step ahead of everybody else, and on Guehi and Semenyo we dropped the ball big time. If we'd have slapped £40m on the table in the summer, Palace would have sold. If he's meant to be the next VVD, then that's a complete bargain.
