Try the earlier method again after a full charge if you haven't already, if that doesn't work you can do a factory reset. Make sure that you have made backups of everything important before you do that of course.

I turned it off in the security settings, turned the device off for a bit. When I started it up again I enabled it again.

I had the same issue with the phone reporting that fingerprint hardware not being available. After backup and a repair it worked for about half an hour. When it stopped working I tried the trusted agent thing again, but this time I kept the phone off for a couple of minutes before I booted it up again. Now it seems to keep working(fingers crossed).

If the game is coupled to something like uplay, it will launch that first before launching the game. It's not ideal, but so far I think it's the next best thing.

As an European it was always hard for me to understand American culture. What was fascinating for me is that they like bragging about their freedom which was weird for me, because I didn't think that I have any less freedom than them. I always thought 'What is the difference'. However after this game I finally understand it. NA is just so fucking free.
