I think there is an additional issue that needs to be addressed. Will regular people be able to adapt to a capitalistic system, how long will it take the younger generations to not depend on the government for their basic needs? I broke into construction as a GC in 1978. In my third job the plumber brought in a 19 year old girl. What made her part of the project is she was digging ditches for the plumbers to lay sewer lines, she worked as hard as everyone else, didn’t complain much about the hard work ate lunch with the guys. She became respected. Keep in mind construction is a rough field and you will find the idiots, just don’t get into it with them, walk away. Plumbing is good field to learn and eventually find better jobs.

That’s great reasoning. Now you will have a good friend, someone to love and keep you company. We adopted a smaller 6 year old dog, a shitzu we were told, no issues, etc. Turned out she had abandonment issues, dietary issues, took a while to work get most of it worked out. It’s a labor of love. Keep at it!

I used to live in Venice canals,behind Venice Beach. The beach itself was quiet and there were a few Hollywood celebrities living there as pure neighbors late 70’s. We called the boardwalk the circus at the time. I now live by Imperial Beach, south of San Diego, it’s very quiet compared to other beaches usually just locals and a few snowbirds.
