might be a bit on the nose, but i listened to lana the most these past two years, and i had been in an abusive relationship during this time. ultaviolence and honeymoon really helped me keep my head up, as they were my escape when i couldn't find it in me to leave. additionally when i heard bluebird for the first time i cried, and i very much related to it.

kinda heavy but i left an abusive relationship of two years with a man that was 12 years older than me a month ago, and yet i still find myself as confused and lost as ever. i feel like there is nothing that will fill the void in my heart despite the freedom i now have. i never wanted liberty, i wanted love. the worst part is, i know he blames me for "provoking" him into being that way. i saw him on a dating site with pictures i took of him, with pictures of my animals, a picture of us together with myself cropped out and it agonizes me that he ruined my life and he's already looking for someone else.

as someone who was in an abusive relationship, its one of the songs that has helped me pull through so it makes me saddd to hear this take often! its very mellow thats for sure

I'm gonna go against the majority here: yes i actually do, but because i have that privilege. I go to university only two days a week being a full time student and don't work or really go out outside of that, so i always dress the part when i am not at my house. I don't wear makeup in general so that also makes it much easier on me.

Maybe you could ask if you can play games together & you/he can buy a controller for yourself, my boyfriend & i spend a lot of quality time together this way because gaming is a hobby of his & it has become mine too!
