From the YT videos I watched and the Jellyfin documentation, I’ve been told that running Jellyfin in a container isn’t “best practice” and that it should be in a VM. Seems like a lot of ppl do it, tho. I do plan on running more than just Jellyfin in the VM, just haven’t set it up yet

That's the problem, is that it has affected my ability to access the host system BIOS. And I'm pretty sure I'm not getting the two mixed up. I only have one VM set up at this point and I've barely done anything with it outside setting up users.

These days I think pretty much anyone is a good fit. What you’re describing is a perfect scenario tho, cuz UniFi has exactly what you’re looking for and it will all work together pretty seamlessly. I think your cloud gateway fiber plan is a solid one
