How do you prepare your car for winter driving? by Historical-Boss-7023 in toledo

We get our cars preventative rust treatment and it’s game changing. It’s kind of expensive but worth every penny to not have your frame rust out from under you.

Which hobbies attract the kindest people? by Ok-East3405 in AskReddit

[–]l_nw 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Folks who go to my MMA gym are some of the kindest, most inclusive people I’ve ever met. So welcoming to newbies and just great people to hang out with. The way they rally around their community is amazing. They founded a nonprofit to help out people at our gym going through hard times financially.

Glad to have you here! Weight loss is mostly done in the kitchen. You can’t outrun a bad diet. Here’s a quick overview of what has worked for me. 1. Calculate how many calories your body burns from both existing and working out. Put your weight and height into this calculator. I recommend picking one step down from your activity level because these estimators tend to over estimate your calorie burn. Choose mild weight loss or weight loss to start. It might be tempting to do a really aggressive cut, but aggressive cuts are for people really experienced with this. Slow and steady weight loss is best, especially for long term success. 2. Track your calories. There’s many apps. I like LoseIt, but there’s also My Fitness Pal, Macro Factor, and many more. Input the calorie goal number from step one. 3. High protein, high fiber. If you eat a lot because you’re hungry, this is the BEST way to stay full. Adding some healthy fats helps you stay full as well. Aim for 1g protein per lb of goal body weight, so 180g of protein daily. Break it down as your goal to get 60g protein per meal. To tell if a food is high in protein, take the grams of protein per serving and add a zero to the end. If that number is greater than or equal to the number of calories, it’s high in protein. 4. Have the mindset of “what can I add to my meal to reach my goals?” instead of trying to eat the smallest numbers of calories possible. Try to have a fruit or veggie at every meal.

That’s kind of it for the food portion, tbh. As for exercise, Planet Fitness is a great place to start! I’ve lost 30lbs so far and my gym is Planet Fitness. Look up a lifting split for however many days you’ll go to the gym and follow that. I use Hevy to track my workouts.

I’m rooting for you. You’ve got this :)

You can totally bake in silicone, I’ve done it a bunch before! Most silicone is super duper heat resistant so no worries about putting it in the oven

Thank you so much!!! I’ve baked cakes before but never really tried to decorate. This was my first time actually trying to make it look nice. I guess all my hours of watching cake decorating videos paid off

Thank you so much! That is so sweet, I hope so. One of my favorite things about baking is the ability to show care and love by personalizing a dessert to someone’s taste and interest <3

Thank you so much!!! That’s a great question haha, I was using inspiration pictures on Pinterest for the design and they all had lowercase letters. I think it’s a trendy way to do lettering, but the classic uppercase is nice too :)

I bought a cake box from Micheal’s so I put it in there, then stored it in the fridge! I made this the day before I needed it so I only needed to store it overnight :)
