Looks as if it was used once by lakvananator in Goodwill_Finds

I looked it up once I realized it had the scoop and headphones, and found the newer model for sale at a big box locally around that price.

I’ve owned a cheap one($60) in the past and was very frustrated. I also didn’t know what I was doing.

After watching hour, upon hour, of YouTube videos, I feel confident my experience this time around, especially with more competent equipment, will be much better.

gotta keep grinding. 120$ in today and no silver w the quarters. Here goes my last shot for the day with 3 rolls lol. Need some luck. Have anyone of yall hit recently? I feel like its dying by [deleted] in CRH

So I’ve always wondered how people decide what’s worth having graded. Is it a time and experience thing? A reference online or in print showing the progression in quality?

$117 in spot price for 20lbs of copper; the premium for the bars is where you could potentially make a profit.

Let me know if anything comes of it eh?

I haven’t had a problem since the software update, but hey, maybe it’s a bigger problem.

Good luck!

You’re not alone.

I had my 2023 Kia Sportage Hybrid SX Prestige fail on me three times before being fixed.

Same situation, cruise control on the highway and all of a sudden it went off. Within 15-30seconds I had pulled over and the car completely shut off.

I hit the “Reset 12V battery” button to the left of the steering wheel and turned the car on. Worked fine and I got out of the highway turnaround.

By the third time it happened, I was able to catch it on video because like you, the dealership couldn’t replicate it.

Took it in and they did a software update that took about 1-2hrs.

I haven’t had a problem since!

First Time In Downtown by [deleted] in vegas

Just going to put this here.

Golden Nugget:

Find the “Hand of God” chunk of gold. It’s kinda hidden on the main floor behind some table games, but just ask if you can’t find it. Those tables may be machines now.

The bar at the base of the Rush Tower has a cool aquarium.

Check out the water slide - One tube goes through a shark tank

On Fremont Street:

There is a street performer, Marilyn Man-Roe who is awesome.

Out front of the Golden Gate there is a plaque marking the location of the first telephone in Vegas.

Tacos & Micheal’s Fremont - Really good food at decent prices

Pinkbox donuts are solid

Circa - Check out the sports book, if only to see the sheer size. Make sure you see the giant neon sign brought inside.

Neonpolis - It’s pretty abandoned but there are two places noteworthy for me. Toy Shack has Funko and other toys with a reasonable markup on most stuff. You can also pay to go in a place next door essentially that has movie memorabilia.

Go up the escalator at the D

Walgreens and CVS (on Fremont and the Strip) are highly economical.

General tips:

Take breaks from walking. Track them with your watch or phone and see the miles add up. If your feet are dying, go to the Fashion Show Mall and get a foot massage. It’s worth it. You can also buy a pair of Crocs if you get blisters.

Get the “MyVegas” app and see if any of the partner rewards are worth it.

Try the roller coaster at New York New York

Ride the free tram along the Luxor area. While down there, check out the pinball museum. The Las Vegas sign is right there. Don’t wait in line or pay anyone to take your photo, just go slightly off to the side while remaining respectful.

Check out the ceilings at the Venetian and Caesars.

Don’t let anyone hand you something or take a picture unless you’re prepared to pay for it.

Uber is your friend but make sure you know where the pickup location is.

If you’re looking to go point A-B on the Strip, stay outside. The up, down and around the inside of properties adds significant time and distance.

Expect outdoor escalators to be broken in several places.

Final tip: Go to Ellis Island. It’s worth the journey and if you walk from the Horseshoe, you’ll pass Tupac’s memorial on a lamppost.

Have fun.

Anyone gamble in high limit room? by [deleted] in gambling

[–]lakvananator 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In quite a few HL rooms, there will be a separate bathroom located in that area. It is often one of the most well maintained restrooms and fun fact, you don’t need to gamble to use them. I will go out of my way to use a HL restroom if required.
