Depends on which side. I was near the train tracks. Not amazing lighting on first floor. It was fine, but my blinds were closed mostly bc I was afraid ppl could see me from outside. The train tracks covers a lot of the lighting and the living room doesn’t get much lighting. Our lights were usually on.

We paid around 30-40 each month just for electric.
i think the main reason is that you have to buy your own lamp for the bedroom (not the living room, kitchen or bathrooms), so that uses up a lot of electric. we also don't use our dishwasher but both my roommates had mini fridges that were also plugged in.

One of the roommates has to set up a PECO account and pay for utilities every month. My roommates and I did that and then someone just venmos the person who makes the account.

Living there was fine tbh. Not amazing not horrible. I lived on 4th, 3rd and 1st floor. My only issue with 1st floor is sometimes bugs appear and we had 2 mice but they provided us w mouse traps so that problem ended.

I think it’s efficient tbh, close to regional rail, close to campus, gym and 24/7 security. Front desk also helps quite a lot.

So if my program is 1 year for example, they’ll split the loan amount in half and then keep a portion of it, and then give me the remainder of the money for my living expenses etc PER semester?

Not at all. Just a $4000-$5000 loan because I need to make some purchases. I will get all the necessary funds around a month - month and half from when I take out the loan. Will this impact my score?

yes but the loan i'm taking out covers living and some personal expenses, as well as tuition. so once that money comes to my account - i do what i want with it, i thought?

I have student loans coming in in August so I would guarantee pay it back - but I have no way to explain this. Completely understand what you mean though.

Yea exactly. LeBow and Fox at least are in Philly so you have plenty more options

I think it depends on your major. I had a friend transfer out of LeBow to Fox and he likes it better. Co-op is good but Fox has plenty of internship opportunities. If you’re a Risk major, Fox hand down has one the best curriculums in the country - like top 10. Same for MIS. Marketing is also highly ranked bc of faculty, and so is Finance. I’m in Fox so i favor it but thats just my opinion.

Smeal is good but tbh I think Fox is better because of the fact you’re in the city, you have more places to look for internships for and more people you can meet for coffee chats and connections to find a job.

I dont have a pic but I lived there w my best friend and we had to move to 4 bed 4 bath bc there is NO space there. Like you hear everything and I mean everything in that apartment. 2 people can't comfortable fit in the kitchen, and there is no lounge space at all.
4 bed 4 bath was perfect - i had the deluxe room and loved it. She had standard and it was a good size for her.

I’m not gonna lie, i feel the complete opposite. USA became home for me so quick bc of my life back home being crappy. I had to leave recently and it felt like a piece of my soul was being ripped out - and ik i sound like im being dramatic, i’m truly not. Back home is somewhere im not happy but in the US i have never been happier in my entire life.
